The food we offer is as close as possible to the known preferences of each species in its natural environment, especially during the adaptation period. We offer our 'guests' fresh, live and varied food whenever possible. About 400kg of food (fish, shrimp, brine shrimp, worms, eggs, squid, spinach, planktonic crustaceans, crabs) are consumed every week at the Vasco da Gama Aquarium.
