This hall of the Maritime Museum is dedicated to the cabins of the Royal Yacht 'Amélia', luxurious quarters intended to be used by King Carlos and Queen Amélia. They were removed after the ship was decommissioned and dismantled in 1938, and some of its crockery, crystal and cutlery items have also been preserved.

When the Republic was established on 5 October,1910, the yacht transported the royal family into exile. Also in 1910, it was renamed 'Cinco de Outubro'.
